Hi, I'm Alicia. I am passionate about providing specialist mental health support. I have worked with children, adults and families experiencing a diverse range of difficulties including; anxiety, depression, family violence, relationship difficulties/breakdowns, personality disorders, complex trauma/trauma, disordered eating, low self-esteem and substance misuse. I have a special interest in working with teens and young adults. I believe in developing respectful, authentic and open-minded relationships with each person I work with. My approach is inclusive, relaxed and when appropriate humorous and playful.
My therapeutic approach is underpinned by trauma-informed practice. Supporting people to develop a deeper understanding of their experiences at individual and relational levels; whilst empowering them with knowledge, understanding and skills. I am also trained in; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectic Behavioural.
I am Medicare approved with rebates of $81.90 available. Session fees $137 ($55.10 + medicare rebate) for Telehealth/video sessions and $145 ($63.10 + medicare rebate) for in person sessions.
