I work with a range of clients as I have 3 main specialities: I work with couples and families (Gottman therapist) I help WorkCover clients (SIRA accredited) I help clients who have had trauma or health related issues (EMDR)

My counselling draws on my belief that each client's treatment needs to be individualized to his or her unique history and life story, culture, values, strengths and needs. I believe in creating a safe, supportive and non - judgmental environment in which the client will be treated with respect and confidentiality. It is here that the client is supported in finding their value, healing and strength in resolving their struggles and pain. My sincere wish is for my clients to leave the counselling process changed and equipped with new skills to approach their future with confidence and resilience.

At ArtFull Therapy we see adults and children at all stages in life. There is a professional focus on those living with additional needs and neurological challenges (incl. ASD; Ageing well; Dementia, Stroke; Carer support). No need to be good at art however, it does require an interest/ commitment to get to know yourself better and to identify thoughts and behaviours not serving you well. Clients are taught to identify those, regulate, communicate, self-observe, adapt, engage, change. This builds confidence and resilience allowing for a translation of this new awareness and learnt skills for better relationships and well-being.

I am JH Venter a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience. I have worked in a variety of public and private sector settings, recently leading a team of mental health professionals at UNSW, where we cared for the student population. I am passionate about helping clients to achieve their full potential. I support clients transitioning into adulthood and adults navigating various life stages and obstacles by providing evidence-based treatment such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapy.

Werner Teichert obtained his Master in Clinical Psychology degree (Cum Laude) from the University of South Africa and has also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with The University of Reading. He is a full Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists (FCCLIN). Werner’s passion is providing shorter term, evidence-informed, value-based care to patients. His therapeutic approach is collaborative and the focus is on reaching shared goals.

I am a registered psychologist with a masters degree in psychology and over twenty years experience working with people from all walks of life. I am passionate about helping them overcome stress, anxiety, addictions and depression. I also have over 13 years experience working with couples and I am a trained couples and relationship counsellor with level two Gottman training.

I believe in clients can transform from previous trauma, anxiety and depression. I use a holistic approach to address potential challenges and am a internationally accredited Neurofeedback provider.

I am an experienced Art Psychotherapist who has a person-centred and strength based approach to therapy. I have a strong focus on really getting to know you and understand who you are and I provide a space free from judgment and biased outcomes. Counselling using art can help deepen and explore different aspects of your own internal workings and I believe you to be the expert in your own life. I have a strong focus on personal and professional development, always going deeper with every aspect in my own life to be able to support others to do the same. I have also worked with NDIS for over 2 years.

I have been a Clinical Psychologist for many years, I have worked with individuals, couples and families who present with a variety of needs. I have trained in Hypnotherapy worked with clients with complex trauma, and across the lifespan. I don't believe that any one is 'broken' but do believe that everyone can be fixed. Optimism and humour are central to my practice as are warmth and empathy. Courage is important both for you and me.

Couples who are struggling with communication, infidelity, sexual issues and emotional intimacy They want to work on their relationship and put it back on track. They want more intimacy and connection It is a goal of mine to help clients fix their relationship or to help them seperate

Gerard engages with clients in a warm and compassionate, person-centred therapeutic manner.His approach and experience is the bedrock for creating a safe and non-judgmental therapy space for clients from age 10 years old and upwards. Often Gerard's clients present with struggles such as overwhelming levels of stress, relationship challenges, elevated anxiety, depression and self-doubt. These clients generally come to work with Gerard to develop improved coping skills with the view to forging lives that are more manageable and enjoyable, despite the inevitable challenges that life presents.

I currently specialise in diagnostic, behavioural, cognitive, neurological and academic assessments and support thereafter. I have a keen interest in Autism and ADHD, specifically in woman and girls, and in helping adults explore this later in life. I conduct assessments in person and online, from a neurodiversity affirming framework, and currently focus on the following: Autism; Global Developmental Delay, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder; Specific Learning Disorders; Anxiety etc.

I am flexible and able to work with both males and females. Age does not preclude me from seeing someone. I am accepting of anyone who is looking for someone to listen to them and will give them a voice. I worked in Samaritans and Lifeline for 20 years as a centre supervisor, trainer and shift supervisor. I have recently been working with addiction and the family of the addict and am able to hold you in a safe space as you become self aware and self accepting.
