Hiya I'm Adri. With 25 years expertise in trauma recovery and mental health, I can guide and support you to identify feelings and behaviours that are not serving you; so you can develop practical and effective coping strategies. I tailor my approach to your individual needs and goals and offer EMDR, DBT, ACT, CBT and a relational approach. Sometimes the work will be brief and focused; or there may be a longer process needed. I support teens, adults, couples and families with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, BPD, parent coaching, grief, sexual issues, life transitions. My inclusive approach is neuro-affirming and I am a strong ally of the LGBTIQA+ community.
Being a therapist is my passion and heart work. I've worked in health and community services leading highly skilled allied health teams, consult nationally on child protection matters, and lecture in the Faculty of Psych at UniSQ. I also work in the forensic space. Life is full with our blended tribe of 5 young adults (16-27). Hope we can connect.
