Adrian enjoys working with a range of psychological and interpersonal issues, including anxiety, anger management, personality disorders, trauma, self-harm, relationship difficulties, bullying, low confidence, loss and grief, and depression. Adrian has particular experience working with adolescents and young adults, which usually involves families, friends, partners, teachers, and other professionals. Adrian also has a separate interest in those who participate in sport or performance-based activity. Adrian’s therapeutic approach is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Schema Therapy.
Adrian has over 10 years of experience working as a psychologist in youth and adult mental health. Adrian currently works at headspace with young people aged 12-25 years. In recent years he has also worked with adults at a specialist pain clinic. Adrian's approach is friendly, non-judgemental, flexible, collaborative, and empowering.
