Life can be hard and it takes courage to seek help and work for change. I enjoy working with adults of all ages, and provide a safe, confidential space to support you with current challenges. I have significant experience working with people affected by cancer and chronic illness, anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual abuse, loneliness, relationship and family challenges, and grief. I have considerable cross-cultural experience, both in Australia and overseas, and really enjoy working with people from different backgrounds.

At Walk and Talk Psychology we work with kids, teenagers and adults in an outdoor space. Counselling takes place whilst walking along the beach or foreshore, or in a quiet playground with younger children. I am passionate about teaching young people how to recognise and to regulate their emotional responses, develop a positive sense of self, problem solve situations, and build their resilience for the future. The relaxed, calming environment and the light exercise enables more creative problem solving and and enhanced mental flexibility.

I am a Clinical Counsellor and DBT group therapist. I work with highly sensitive people who struggle with intense emotions and their aftermath. Sometimes they may feel like they are feeling everything, all at once, at other times nothing at all. My clients come to learn how to navigate the emotional highs and lows, be a better friend and partner (and find better friends and partners) and overcome their difficulties to build a life that is meaningful and rich to them.
