Pamela Mallette LCPC
Pamela Mallette is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has been in private practice since 2009. She is passionate about helping those who seek her counsel using a trauma-informed, down-to-earth approach. She has expertise in understanding how trauma affects memory and the brain, a study which became all the more personal since testing gene-positive for Huntington’s Disease. Her background as a therapist has given her unique insights as she navigates her own journey through this currently incurable neurodegenerative disorder. She hopes to share this journey with as many as possible to raise awareness, offer support, and create meaning around the lived experience of this rare and fatal illness. In addition to her professional interests, she is a mother of four who pursues her own mental health through music, reading, running (jogging, if she's being honest), and writing.
