About

Mark Shelvock, MACP, is a licensed psychotherapist in Canada who is passionate about fostering restorative and expansive post-traumatic growth. He is also a Certified Thanatologist with the Association for Death Education and Counselling, and teaches in the Grief Education Program at OISE, University of Toronto. Shelvock maintains a clinical psychotherapeutic practice in London, Ontario which specializes in providing trauma-responsive psychotherapy and holistic counselling. He supports individuals around complex trauma, stress, dissociation, adverse childhood experiences, grief or loss, LGBTQ+ health concerns, relational issues, and the development of personal authenticity. Shelvock has clinical expertise in attachment theory, somatic psychology, psychodynamic therapy, and creative healing practices. He is also pursuing his Ph.D. at Western University in the Faculty of Health Sciences. His research focuses on trauma healing, psychotherapy, and health professional education.
