Why are so many people drawn to conspiracy theories in times of crisis?

Thank you, Julian. I ended a recent session with a new therapist during which I shared a lot of childhood history by laughing and saying that I'd been through enough to traumatize five people; they'd just have to pick any five-year period in my early life and experience what I did! I'm glad I could laugh; in my 57 years, tears have predominated. I'm finally ready to change that. I hope your life is better now, too. Take care
