I know this is a few months old, but I just need to write how grateful I am to you for stating the obvious. No matter the circumstances, infidelity is never justified and the cheating party should always be subjected to ostracism and shunning. The line must be drawn somewhere, and I don't want to even imagine a world in which the person that was cheated on is blamed for it.
