William Irwin Ph.D. is Herve A. LeBlanc Distinguished Service Professor and Chair of Philosophy at King’s College in Pennsylvania. He is the author of the novel Little Siddhartha: A Sequel and other books including God Is a Question, Not an Answer and The Free Market Existentialist: Capitalism without Consumerism. Irwin originated the philosophy and popular culture genre of books with Seinfeld and Philosophy in 1999. Irwin has also co-edited The Simpsons and Philosophy and edited The Matrix and Philosophy, Metallica and Philosophy,and Black Sabbath and Philosophy. He is currently the General Editor of The Blackwell Philosophy and Pop Culture Series.
