The Human Beast

Why we do what we do.

I'm afraid this is what

I'm afraid this is what evolution is made up of anyway. A lot of interesting and adrenaline intensifying stories that interest the public. The public loves a good story, and what is more interesting than a "history" that none of us really can prove? When Lucy, the australopithecine, appeared on the scene as a result of Don Johanson every evolutionist and student of evolution jumped to prove her existence and believe it. The same occurred when Homo erectus appeared. The question still remains: "why isn't Lucy here with us today.
The same question remains for Homo erectus, and will more than likely arise with Ida.
Eventually the hype died down and serious, thought-provoking questions on their true existence began to circulate. All that is surrounding Ms. Ida right now is hype, hype, and more hype. The hype surrounding Ida is abusing the need of humanity to question its existence.

When the leading-edge researchers of our current time unveil themselves and challenge this new theory of millions of years of mutational events (i.e., Ida) and the belief in a "new revelation," then I'm sure the hype will die down and true research will then begin.

What an injustice to make our children and our students believe in these things that have not been substantiated, but produced by evolutionary idealism. "The Link" exemplifies the very feeling that many had when Jurassic Park came out, there was nothing more than firm interest and curiosity, but lacking in much fact.

Ida Hype is Continuing Scientific Fraud

This is not an isolated case of public hyping of an overblown scientific "discovery". It is the predictable fraud that the public has been subjected to across the full range of sciences for many years now, due to dogmatic scientific adherence to failing theories. I have made the key, world-encompassing discovery that science needs but refuses to acknowledge, and the on-going hype by scientists will not abate until it does. See my new blog at http://theendofthemystery.blogspot.com for the challenge to science.

Agree

I do agree, there is much scientific hype and it unfortunately misleads many people into thinking things that are not true. This certainly does apply to many of the "sciences." One that comes to mind is the once controversial science...psychology. Many drugs are created with scientific hype as its name "tage," making people think they can be "cured" if they take a certain drug.
Science/evolution also does the same thing and this Ida hype, is the worst yet and I'm afraid quite a laughingstock.
