Shopping for Good Genes: Intelligent Men Have Better Quality Sperm.

In a recent study published in Intelligence, Rosalind Arden and her colleagues found significant correlations between men's intelligence and the quality of their sperm (concentration, count, and motility). This puts a whole new twist to the idea that some mating behaviors that women engage in are instantiations of their shopping for good genes. Read More

Please only post comments of the type: "This 1985 study of 425 sample explains everything exhaustively. There are no possible arguments against the plausibility of these conclusions. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

If the is true. The study

If the is true. The study was not large enough, nor was it followed up to see if their offspring proved the quality of sperm was a indicator of future generations intelligence.

If this was done in 1985, we have a 24 year period to prove the assumptions.

I'd like to see more proof. Not this crazy notion that evolution explains everything. IT is a theory after all. IT makes more sense to study our chemical make up, it's relationship to the gene pool.

Science needs to rely on solid facts, not theories.

As a woman I will be drawn to a man, that impresses on me both unspoken spiritual connectiveness, and sexual chemisty. Both can not be measured. Although, scientist have been doing great work correlating ovalation, with male attraction to women.

More over do you not think there would not be more intelligent people in our society.
