Look At It This Way

Seeing old things in new ways.

I'll take wisdom!

This is something I think about constantly.... where has the reverence for wisdom gone? I have read the book A Tender Warrior to which you refer, and its message inspired me to do a real self-assessment about my beliefs and actions. Maybe I need to re-evaluate my thinking, but the life of Lt. General Hal Moore has motivated me to do more with my own life than any piece of high speed technology. Give me the real story of a hero, and his musings about the meaning of life any day, whether it's Hal Moore, or a young soldier from Iraq or Afghanistan who has been through the hell of flying bullets and explosives. Both are ripe with wisdom. Call me "old-fashioned," but THAT's the connection I want. Thank you, Dr. Mason, for pointing out again what I think is the obvious!
