Slash Coleman, M.A.Ed.
Slash Coleman, M.A.Ed., author of The Bohemian Love Diaries, is an award-winning writer and performer best known for his PBS special and Off-Broadway one man show, The Neon Man and Me. Over the past decade his work has been featured in The Washington Post, American Theatre Magazine, Backstage Magazine, and most recently on the NPR series "How Artists Make Money?" Recent performances include: The International Storytelling Center, Pete Seeger's Clearwater Festival and The National Storytelling Festival.
Descended from a grandfather who was a dancer at the Moulin Rouge, a grandmother who was a painter, and a father who is a prolific sculptor, Slash draws much of his material from being raised by an offbeat, creative family.
Slash currently lives in New York City where he writes, performs and develops material for the stage, film and TV.
