Sharon I. Praissman and Emma Williams are the co-authors of MisConception: Real and Hopeful Stories About Conceiving in Your Mid-Thirties and Beyond (in development). Ms. Praissman is board certified as both an Adult (medical) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has published on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and serves as a reviewer for Health Psychology Review and Acta Psychiatrica Scandinavica on mindfulness and meditation articles as well as health interventions for people with chronic mental illness. She is also a Buddhist lay teacher and a RESOLVE peer support group host. Emma Williams has degrees is journalism and public health and works primarily as an evaluator of reproductive health projects in developing countries. She has co-authored on more than a dozen research articles that have been published in peer-reviewed journals including Lancet, British Medical Journal and Bulletin of the World Health Organization. She is the mother of two young girls and lives in Baltimore, MD.
