Rachel Annunziato, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of psychology at Fordham University. She has been conducting research and treating patients in a medical setting for over a decade. Dr. Annunziato's research centers in pediatric psychology, health behaviors, and the transition to adulthood—with an eye toward health and improving quality of life. She has published over 50 peer-reviewed publications on these topics and mentored dozens of students training in clinical psychology.
Healthy Transitions focuses on health behaviors, adjustment and coping throughout the lifespan. An emphasis will be on living with special health care needs but adjustment and coping generally will also be discussed. Great consideration will be placed on learning how to take research findings and turn them into better quality of life and improved well-being. And, this will a place for lots of stories too drawn from working with so many wonderful people over the years.
