Piercarlo Valdesolo, Ph.D., is a social psychologist working as a College Fellow at Harvard University. He completed his Ph.D. at Northeastern University and will be an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Claremont McKenna College beginning in the summer of 2011. His research explores the role of emotion in social and moral life, and he is co-author of the book Out of Character: Surprising truths about the liar, cheat, sinner (and saint) lurking in all of us.
