Patty Chang Anker (www.pattychanganker.com) is the author of SOME NERVE: Lessons Learned While Becoming Brave (Riverhead Books, 2013) a memoir about facing her fears and helping others to do the same, which Parents Magazine calls a "Mom Must Read," Oprah.com featured in "Books that will Make You More Happy, Confident and Spontaneous" and is a finalist for a Books for A Better Life Award. As a yoga teacher she incorporates stress reduction and relaxation techniques whenever possible in her writing. Her work has appeared in magazines and websites including Marie Claire and iVillage, and she is a sought after workshop/retreat leader and a frequent guest on radio programs. 

She lives in Westchester, NY with her husband and two daughters.
