Meredith Resnick, L.C.S.W., is a health writer as well as a licensed social worker. Her writing has appeared in publications such as Newsweek, Bride's, JAMA, The Orange County Register, Los Angeles Times, Newsday, Chicago Tribune and others. She has been a consultant to nursing homes, residential facilities for adults with brain injuries and at rehabilitation facilities, and has worked in inpatient psychiatry, home health and hospice.
