Karen Leland is the president of Sterling Marketing Group where she helps authors, entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 companies negotiate the wired world of marketing, PR and social media through creating impactful content, crisp communications and building brands. Her clients have included such well know companies as AT&T, American Express, Oracle, Marriott Hotels, Apple Computer and Johnson & Johnson. 

She is the bestselling author of seven books, including Time Management In An Instant: 60 Ways To Make The Most Of Your Day and Watercooler Wisdom: How Smart People Prosper in the Face of Conflict, Pressure and Change.  

Watercooler Wisdom was based on surveys of over 20,000 executives, managers and staff from Fortune 500 companies in the United States and abroad.

Ms. Leland has also been a keynote speaker for business groups around the globe including The Young President’s Organization, The American Management Association and The Direct Marketing Association.
