Dr. Josh Davis received his bachelor’s from Brown University, and his Ph.D. from Columbia University. His career began in engineering, from which he transitioned to academic teaching and research about the mind and brain. He has researched adaptive emotional state control and mind-body connections (embodiedmind.org, embodimentlab.com), and has received funding from the National Science Foundation. Since 2002 he has taught and inspired students ranging from high school, at an inner-city Brooklyn Public School, to the Ivy League, as well as adults returning to school.
Dr. Davis is a Lead Professor for the NeuroLeadership Institute, a Term Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Barnard College of Columbia University, a member of the training staff of the NLP Center of New York, and a NeuroCoach.
