Jordan Gaines received her Bachelor's in biology and neuroscience at St. Mary's College of Maryland, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Penn State College of Medicine. Her award-winning science writing has been featured on NBC News, Nature Education, Brain Blogger, LabSpaces, and Scientopia. She is also the social media editor for ScienceSeeker, managing editor and contributor for Lions Talk Science (the Penn State College of Medicine graduate student blog), and an ad hoc reviewer for the Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine. In her limited "free" time, Jordan enjoys reading, rowing, playing clarinet, and volunteering at her local Humane Society. Originally from Maryland, she currently resides in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
