John Ryder

Dr. John Ryder is a psychologist, hypnotherapist, and author. He is the mental fitness expert who helps people identify their strengths and refocus on the positive in life. His career has included over 15 years of research on how the brain works that he has integrated with the more intuitive and practical aspects of what we experience to create effective tools to make life easier. He has published over a dozen articles of his research on brain function. He has worked at Harvard, the Boston VA Hospital and served as an Assistant Professor at Mt Sinai Medical Center in New York. He has also traveled all over the world studying with renown leaders of Eastern philosophy and Western science to develop a more holistic perspective that combines ancient wisdom with modern techniques. He began studying meditation at 16 and hypnosis at 18 and has written about both subjects extensively. He has become a strong advocate of positive psychology and wants to share his knowledge of what the most successful, healthy and happy people already know. Dr. Ryder has been a consultant to many successful individuals, corporate executives, athletes, and celebrities. He has shared his expertise on a variety of radio and television shows.
