Joanne Stern, PhD, is a highly sought after international speaker, a popular guest on TV and radio shows, including Fox & Friends Weekend, View from the Bay and The Joey Reynolds Show. Joanne has contributed to Family Circle, Good Housekeeping and the New York Daily News and writes regularly for blogs such as Psychology Today, Care 2 and Parenting Pink. As a psychotherapist for more than twenty years, Dr Stern has counseled families, parents and teens in relationships, drugs and alcohol, eating disorders and grief and loss. She additionally consults with businesses and non-profits around the world. and has worked with hundreds of working moms along the way. Dr Stern holds a BA and MA from Northwestern University, a double masters's in counseling psychology and theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and a PhD in human and organizational systems from Fielding Graduate University. Joanne is the author of the acclaimed book, "Parenting Is a Contact Sport: 8 Ways to Stay Connected to Your Kids for Life," and she is currently working on a new book for working moms about capitalizing on the leadership skills you learn at home that will create success at work. A mother and grandmother, she lives with her husband in Aspen, Colorado.
