Jared DeFife, Ph.D.
Jared DeFife, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Emory University School of Medicine. As a transplant psychologist with the Emory Transplant Center, he works with patients and their families throughout stages of the organ transplantation process.
He earned his master's and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Adelphi University and completed a clinical fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. DeFife specializes in the study of personality, mood disorders, and psychotherapy. He also frequently publishes and teaches about dynamic/interpersonal therapies, research methods, and media.
