Janelle Wilson, Ph.D., is a professor of sociology at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Her primary topics of study include collective memory, generations, and nostalgia. She is the author of the book Nostalgia: Sanctuary of Meaning, published by Bucknell University Press in 2005, and the second author of Mathematical Metaphors, Memories, and Mindsets: An Examination of Personal, Social, and Cultural Influences on the Perception of Mathematics, published by Rowman & Littlefield in 2020.
