Gregg Murray, Ph.D.

Gregg R. Murray, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Texas Tech University. His primary research focuses on political behavior and, in particular, how evolutionary theory may help explain some of our political behaviors that are seemingly irrational. Some of his recent studies have looked at how humans' ancestral history may impact our preferences for leader characteristics such as physical stature and sex.
