George Davis' latest book is The Melting Points. He is professor emeritus at Rutgers University and his books include the Vietnam War novel, Coming Home (Random House) and the bestselling non-fiction book, Black Life in Corporate America (Doubleday). He was a journalist with the Washington Post, New York Times, Essence and Black Enterprise. He earned a BA from Colgate University and an MFA from Columbia University
