Frederick Muench, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and the founder of Mobile Health Interventions a company dedicated to using technology to improve mental health. He also consults on research projects at the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University. Dr. Muench has broad-ranging real-world and scientific experience using technology to improve health. Previously he served as the Director of Clinical Research and Development at an ambulatory biofeedback company. He has held faculty positions at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and New York University. He recently founded the new Special Interest Group, Technology and Behavior Change, within the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT). Dr. Muench has numerous scientific publications and is the author of the humor book, The Official Guide to Dysfunctional Parenting.
