Dora Calott Wang, M.D., is the author of The Kitchen Shrink: A Psychiatrist's Reflections on Healing in a Changing World (Riverhead/Penguin, 2010). A graduate of the Yale School of Medicine and the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, she is a psychiatrist and Historian of the School of Medicine at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Wang has been the recipient of the Milton Rosenbaum Research Award, and a prestigious Lannan Foundation writer's residency.  She has hosted a TV talk show, "Duke City Magazaine."  Visit her website: www.doracalottwang.com.
