Deborah L. Davis, Ph.D. is a developmental psychologist who writes books that support parents through crises such as the death of a baby, premature birth, parenting in the NICU, perinatal hospice, and making end-of-life medical decisions. She has also written about medical ethics, relationship-centered care, perinatal bereavement care, and parenting in the NICU for medical texts and national organizations, informing and supporting the health care practitioners who work with these families. She is currently writing a book that supports parents whose babies are stillborn. She is forever inspired by the resilience these parents demonstrate and the personal transformation that ensues.
