Dr. Carolyn Ross completed medical school at the University of Michigan, did a residency in Preventive Medicine at Loma Linda University and completed a two year fellowship at Dr. Andrew Weil's Center for Integrative Medicine.
She was the Chief of the Eating Disorders Program at Sierra Tucson and currently is a consultant for treatment centers looking to adopt her integrative approach to eating disorders and addictions.
Her last book The Binge Eating Disorder and Compulsive Overeating Workbook has been given rave reviews by therapists, coaches and the lay public. Dr. Ross has also developed a line of supplements as a result of her research designed to support the recovery of patients with eating disorders, addictions and obesity. Dr. Ross also co-authored an audio program with Dr. Andrew Weil entitled "The Joy of Eating Well."
She is currently in an integrative medicine private practice in Denver, Colorado specializing in treating eating disorders and addictions. Dr. Ross also has a unique whole-person program, The Anchor Program for weight management. Dr. Ross also offers treatment for opiate addiction using Suboxone.
