Arnie Kozak, Ph.D.

Arnie Kozak, Ph.D., is a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry, University of Vermont College of Medicine and founder of the Exquisite Mind Psychotherapy and Meditation Studio in Burlington, Vermont. Long before mindfulness was fashionable, Arnie was studying, practicing, and teaching mindfulness and Buddhist psychology. Beginning with a journey to India in the '80s, Arnie began his lifelong practice in mindfulness meditation. He is the author of Wild Chickens and Petty Tyrants: 108 Metaphors for Mindfulness, The Everything Buddhism Book, The Everything Guide to the Introvert Edge, and Mindfulness A-Z: 108 Insights for Awakening Now (forthcoming in 2014). He teaches workshops at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies.
