Andy Tix, Ph.D. is a faculty member in the Department of Psychology at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, M.N. He completed his B.S. in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Tix is nationally known for his work in the psychology of religion and spirituality. He has won numerous teaching awards. Dr. Tix also hosts a blog devoted to exploring links between Christian spirituality and psychology. He lives with his wife of 15 years, Amy, and two daughters in Hastings, M.N.
