Abbie Goldberg, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Clark University, and a Senior Research Fellow at the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute. She received a B.A. from Wesleyan University, and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is the author of Lesbian and gay parents and their children: Research on the family life cycle (APA; 2010) and Gay dads: Transitions to adoptive fatherhood (NYU Press; June, 2012). Her research interests include: adoption, gay/lesbian parenting, the transition to parenthood, work-family issues, family diversity, gender.
