You can't always get what you want with your biological child. But sometimes you get what you need, with your adopted one.

Some parents call an adoption agency with an Amazon wish list for the child they want to adopt: blue eyes, good teeth, and the important 1040-form gene. Try it -- you'll appreciate your child more when he's doing double duty.
