Perception

Great post, Dara. I had to edit a paper my son wrote this week on Plato's Forms. It's all about what defines our individual realities, and that's based on what we see and on what we believe about what we see. Growing up in a fat-phobic society that's obsessed with everyone being the same size is what we've been seeing in this country and elsewhere for a long time. Love this!

Oh, Dara, another great post! I often doubt myself being an advocate for self acceptance and positive body image because I have never been overweight. But, alas.....I get it. I really, really do.
And the ripple effect. I live it and believe it every day. Thanks again!
