To improve customer service, striking transit workers demand more Viagra

In what is described as "a bone of contention", the Philadelphia Daily News reports that striking subway union members are demanding that their monthly allotment of 10 erectile dysfunction pills be increased.

You've got to hand it to the Transport Workers Union Local 234--while millions of unemployed Americans can't afford food or rent let alone healthcare and essential medicines, union leaders aren't about to take a soft stand on this issue which is apparently vital to their members.

Hopefully, this is not related to the Southern Pennsylvania Transit Authority's goal of "improving customer satisfaction."

Also, given that one can ask for a dose that's twice what he might need and cut the pills in two, the current allotment is already enough for 20 nights of sex a month. I'm sure there's no black market for Viagra in the city of brotherly love, but if there were...
