Perhaps this article was

Perhaps this article was meant for the Sesame street oriented mind. Burst of information but no real moral. The statement “On July 4th, however On July 4th, however, all Americans are patriotic, regardless of their personality type,” I can only envision this as a passive clique to terminate the blog, to merely finish it. I can not believe a gentleman as yourself with your education believes that statement. Indeed, I believe the converse. The majority of celebrations on the 4th of July have nothing to do with patriotic feelings. The 4th is a day off of work and the opportunity for the family to celebrate together. My belief it is more of the clan loyalty which you begin to discuss. I hardly see the aspect of loyalty to nation. As part of the clan activity there is a quasi showing of national pride with a few flag wavings. But, at the heart of it I see the 4th is an expression of clan loyalty. I would have enjoyed reading your opinions on how the 4th is a conflict between clan and national loyalty. But, albeit I am not as educated in the field as you are, I do know argument. I believe you sold yourself short with the subject you started and quickly end with a patterned boilerplate“On July 4th, however, all Americans are patriotic, regardless of their personality type.” You open the debate with your closing statement, not ended it.
