Disgust is NOT phobia

I take exception to what liberal leaders in MY country have labeled as "homophobia." How is it that I am employed in the counseling field (for over 11 years) and consult Psychology AND Psychiatric texts and journals semi-regularly and have yet to find the term homophobia listed as a legitimate disorder??
I DO find homosexuality TRULY disgusting. I tell all I share opinions with AND consult with that persons labeled as "homophobic"
are really not. I tell them instead that much more likely, these persons are simply "homo-disgusted." Thats not a disorder folks but instead, simply an intelligent use of our first amendment rights....you know, like the right of homosexuals to have parades and voter drives.
