political genetics

I would like to see an analysis of sociopolitical locus of control. Some research I did with the 9 item SPIE subscale of Rotter's measure indicated there were some robust differences between Internal and External control that predict political knowledge and behavior; I would be curious to see some genetic analysis of this dimension. Thank God (or my parents at least) that we do not inherit a political party.

Genetic Analyses of political participation

There is a study cited in the Chronicle Review, Oct 3, 2008, that refers to the work by Alford and Hibbing that I cited in the blog. it was published in Science, in September 2008--it may be of interest.
