I completely understand the struggle with unhealthy foods to the point it felt like some sort of addiction. I thought it was a great comparison of how when dealing with addiction you put the lion in the cage, but when its food you put the lion in the cage but brings it out to walk 3 times a day, which can be confusing for the body and continue the struggle with food.
