I am very interested in your last paragraph in which you analysis why she has become the White Knight. I would be very interested in what your thoughts are in rehabilitating such behavior.

I've been a white knight since I was a little girl. Now I have a 19-year-old daughter just like me who has a boyfriend just like her. The shock of recognition overwhelms me. I see now how this drive to rescue is an extremely powerful tidal pool in which the three of us are drowning. My heart despairs. Where do I begin?
