My Inconvenient Truth

In most cases, a good friend is one who tells the truth. Read More

You have questions I have answers

Anastasia Harrell sto know why one can't say anything to a friend who made a bad choice in romantic partner.

Let's talk about culture and women(and men). Our culture tells us to be good, go to school, get a job, pay our bills, and be nice. Many of us choose to do just that because there is a pay-off, we live a nice life and we know where our next meal is coming from.

However, this life business of being good is boring. We lead boring lives if we do what is expected of us. Women are under intense pressure to be good and be nice. If we want to add some zest in our lives we could take some drugs, develop a drinking problem or threaten to commit suicide, but if we did that our reputations would go down the tubes. So what can we do to take our boring little lives up a notch?

Romantic relationships are normal, perfectly acceptable and expected of a good woman(or man). But there is no law that says you have to date a decent person.

Chris Rock once said:
"All good relationships are boring, all the exciting relationships are bad ones. You never know what's gonna happen tomorrow when you're in a bad relationship. You never know when you walk through the door and hey you gave me crabs."

Dating the creepster makes life exciting. Dating the creepster adds a whole bunch of drama to your life, without putting your own good reputation on the line. Dating the creepster keeps your mind occupied, your phone ringing, your brain wizzing while your friends get all concerned. You are the vortex. You know the guy/gal is bad, but that is what makes it so fun.

When a set of friends finally convince their best gal pal to dump the creep, they should prepare for what is most likely going to happen next. The same gal pal is going to find herself another creep.
