I just came upon your February post while searching PT for information about hearing loss. That article you refer to by Pam Belluck was actually an interview with me about an article I wrote for The New York Times about hearing loss and dementia. It was published around the same time as publication of my book "Shouting Won't Help," about adult-onset hearing loss and its social and psychological costs.
