Better MPG's

I whole heartedly agree with you in terms of the 35mpg bull that is coming out of the administration. The information about Vulture was fascinating. I very much agree that new technology is sorely needed. However, you didn't really mention anything other than the low mpg that you found distasteful about Obama's administration.

Personally, the mess that W left for the next administration was an abomination. The appropriate legislation could have (and should have) been passed long ago regarding mpg. Coming into office as a new administration and inheriting the massive economic collapse, a bust housing market, world wide recession, two wars, poor relations with NKorea and Iran, a decaying infrastructure, terrible budgetary problems and huge deficits, the sword of damacles (sp?) of medicare and medicaid, insufficient funding for social security, a healthcare system that is ineffective, outdated, expensive and controlled by Big PHarma and the AMA, an ineffective education system... Running this country is a mess and a job I wouldn't want!!

I think we need to give Obama's administration more than just five months to repair over eight years of destruction.
