It would be great to see a study like this involving the type of art that people enjoy. That said, I don't agree with all of the meanings behind the choices, but it does give an interesting look into the issue. What about people who like all types of music? Everything from hard rock to opera, for example?

As for sports, my guess is that people who are fans of the top teams may actually have low self-esteem. Why? Because it is an easy boost... they know that their team will most likely win. Thus, I would think that people who favor underdog teams may actually have more self-esteem because they know that other fans will give their 2 cents about their choice. If you have low self-esteem you don't want to put yourself in a position that brings more heat on you, so to speak.
