Thank you for your article. I am in the throes of just what you talk about. I just wanted to point something out to you. The two books you cited are very old and actually the Shane Murphy one I have-it was written in 1999 and the other in 2002 but it was out of print when I tried to get it. There have been many written that are "documenting" the issues. I needed one that was more "prescriptive" and much more recent--I have just completed the Brooke de Lench book-- HOME TEAM ADVANTAGE (Harper Collins). It was so powerful and really is so well written that I have suggested that our baseball league have her to talk and that we all read it. There is one more by Bob Bigelow -- again from 2000 and it doesn't give too much advice but does document the issues well.
