Benefits of Yoga
I can vouch for the efficacy of Yoga in not only toning the body but also curing ailments.After practicing it for a couple of years i have been able to reduce my Eltroxin by half--& that,when my Thyroid gland had been killed by radio-active iodine.Even my BP medicine has come down to 20mg from 40h.It has also improved my memory &patience level.All in all a good feel it has given me.

Thanks for the article. I have been practicing Bikram for over 5 years. It has been a life changing experience for me. I believe injuries occur when people stop listening to the instructions of the person who is guiding the practice. I have learnt that there are two important things when you try something new -
1. Showing up
2. Listening
Yoga
So... what is your goal for practicing yoga?
is it to be absorbed into Brahman?
or to relieve your stress?
if you chose the second response... you are blowing it... real hard.
Spiritual Path
Ok let's say that I wanted to do Yoga for the spiritual part rather than just the aesthetic benefits. Which Yoga would I pick?
