Who Would Help a Dying Man?

How could New Yorkers walk by a dying man and not offer to help?

How could New Yorkers walk by a dying man and not offer to help? This is what I was asked when I was interviewed on Fox News about the April 18, 2010 killing of Mr. Tale -Yax. A surveillance camera's video showed him being stabbed. He lay bleeding on the sidewalk as many individuals passed by and did not stop to help him. In this interview I discussed how Mr. Tale-Yax's death was heartbreaking but, in my opinion, not the result of New Yorkers' callous indifference. There were other explanations for the behavior of these bystanders.
